Is RoomSays a free service?
Yes. RoomSays is a free service.
How is RoomSays different from Instant Messaging or IRC?
Instant messaging is not very efficient for group chats. Further, instant messaging is network dependent — if you are on AIM, and your client is on MSN, you can't instant message. RoomSays makes it easier for groups to interact with each other. RoomSays also allows you to share files with everyone in a room at once. More over, All these features require no software, only a web-browser.
What web browsers are compatible with RoomSays?
All modern browsers should work with RoomSays. However, it has been tested on Internet Explorer 6.x, Firefox and Opera. Incase of any problems, mail us at support@roomsays.com.
How do I kick out a user that I don't want anymore?
All admins and moderators have access to the kick button once you click on the username in the active users list.
Are our chats private?
RoomSays has been designed to provide public rooms. Everyone in the room has access to your chats.
How do I access a room?
Every room is assigned a web address (http://roomname.roomsays.com)
Is there a file size limit to share?
Yes, each file you upload must be 5 MB or less.
How long are uploaded files accessible?
Uploaded files are accessible for 24 hours.
